Who are we?
We are a small, UK-based, black-owned, family business dedicated to providing bespoke microloc care, including high-quality products catering to the unique needs of the microloc community. With years of professional micro-interlocking experience and caring for our own microlocs, we have identified and endeavoured to provide the specialised requirements to aid in maintaining healthy microlocs from installation to maturity and beyond.
What makes our products best for microlocs?
Microlocs are unique within the natural hair community and can't be cared for in the same way as loose, or even traditionally loc'd hair. Even though microlocs are deemed a low-maintenance option, it is important to choose the right products to maintain healthy locs at every stage of your loc journey. It's not just about what we include in our products, such as high-quality naturally derived ingredients and light-weight, pH balanced, residue-free formulations, but what we don't include that makes all the difference. You won't find any heavy, creamy, or residue-forming ingredients such as butters, fatty acids and alcohols, or anything that will weigh down or cause build-up on the locs or scalp. All our products have been carefully formulated with microloc-friendly ingredients to ensure maximum health and vitality, without causing residue or build-up.
Why might it take long for your order to be processed?
All our products are lovingly hand-made in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. It may take up to 5 days to make and process your product orders if we don't have enough ready-made stock on hand. If there may be additional delays, we will be in touch with you to let you know.
Why are some of your products in such small packaging?
It really doesn't take a lot to maintain healthy microlocs and is easy to be heavy-handed with products that come in larger sizes. Providing loc care in small packaging makes it more likely to be used in smaller amounts, better suited for microloc care. We don't want you to over-saturate your locs, which may cause additional issues over time. We recommend sticking with the recommended usage as advised on the product pages unless instructed otherwise by your loctition.
Do we ship internationally?
We currently only ship our products within the UK, but we aim to expand to international shipping soon.
What is your refund and returns policy?
All sales are final, non-returnable, and non-refundable. Please get in touch with us if your products are faulty or damaged upon delivery.
